This recipe has been my go to recipe for picnic or get to togethers. I get several compliments on these brownies.
Pour brownie batter into a greased 9" by 13" dish.Now prepare the cookie dough.
Scoop cookie dough out and coat the brownie batter with scoops of cookie dough. It doesn't have to be perfect. Tip you can roll the cookie dough out and lay the dough onto the batter that way. This way is a lot faster than scooping it out.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Use the tooth pick method to check if they are done. Make sure the toothpick goes into the brownie part. When the toothpick comes out clean they are done (be careful of chocolate chips).
If you are looking for an even faster way to make this recipe. You can use box mixes instead of making them from scratch. I have tried it before, and they turn out great.

2 c sugar
1 c flour
2/3 c cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 baking soda
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 c vegetable oil

1/2 c butter or margarine
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 c chocolate chips
