I grow up eating Stromboli. Way before the first pizza shop ever started selling Cal-zones. It was one of the meals that us kids fought over to help make. They are use to custom make for your taste. My kids don't eat a lot of the vegetables that I do.
Batch of Pizza dough
Sausage
Pepperoni
Banana Peppers
Mushrooms
Bacon
Olives
Onions
Pizza Sauce
Mozzarella Cheese
Take between 1/6th to 1/4th of the dough and roll the dough into a circle. Add pizza sauce first and then add the toppings you would like in your stromboli. Add sauce and cheese often.Fold the dough in half forming a half circle. Close the ends to secure your filling.
Bake 500 for 15-20 minutes.
This is a good time to use your pizza stone if you have one.
